In international trade, with a multitude of different customs and
rules, it is of utmost importance that parties to a contract for sale
of goods understand each others rights and responsibilities. The
International Chamber of Commerce issued a set of trade terms that are
used worldwide. These Incoterms codify international rules for the
uniform interpretation of common contract clauses in export/import
transactions involving goods. This workshop provides an overview of the
most common Incoterms and their implications to the transportation
chain.
