Who We Are

Experienced professionals embedded in your team

Tiede, Valdés & Company, LLC (TIVALCO) is a management consulting firm founded in 2007, based in Miami, Florida. Our principals and staff bring extensive, hands-on experience, in international trade to every engagement. We supplement corporate staffs on specific projects, with most of our work concentrated in maritime transportation, third-party logistics, and distribution.

Our focus is commerce within the Americas and between Northern Europe and the Americas. Having lived and worked extensively across these regions, we operate fluently in English, Spanish, and German.

On every assignment, we strive to deliver value, honestly and ethically, — always respecting the customs and points of view of the people we work with.

What We Do

We help companies become more efficient and more profitable

Stacked shipping containers at a port terminal

As business conditions grow more complex, organizations face new challenges faster than the last. We step in to fill resource and expertise gaps.

Some clients engage us for tactical reasons — to address a need without announcing a broader strategic plan. Our clients depend on our discretion; we depend on their trust.

We also share our industry experience as guest speakers and through seminars for professionals engaged in international trade — see our Training section for upcoming workshops.

Business team collaborating

A team that plugs in where you need it most

Accounting, programming, and other corporate functions have long relied on outside experts for short-term assignments. We bring that same model to the maritime, logistics, and distribution segments.
