INCOTERMS define who pays for what, who carries the risk, and where responsibility changes hands between buyer and seller. A misunderstood term can quietly shift thousands of dollars in cost or liability to the wrong party.
This workshop introduces the eleven INCOTERMS 2020 rules, explains how each one allocates costs, risks, and tasks, and shows how they interact with the contract of sale, the contract of carriage, and payment terms.
This workshop features a lecture with a question and answer session — small groups allow for plenty of interaction.
Who should attend
This 3-hour seminar is recommended for staff in purchasing, sales, logistics, customer service, and finance at importers, exporters, forwarders, and carriers — anyone who quotes, negotiates, or executes international sales and shipments.
